<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article explores the reasons for the different interpretations of the word אלהים) ʾĕlōhîm) in Psalm 8:6 in the early translations of the Old Testament and in rabbinic exegesis. The author identifies the historical circumstances behind the various translations, clarifies the positions of Jewish interpreters, and reveals two traditions of interpretation: as «God» and «angels». The author reconstructs the ways in which these traditions spread, indicates their place in Jewish and Christian theology, and offers research perspectives.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Псалом 8</kwd><kwd>масоретский текст</kwd><kwd>Септуагинта</kwd><kwd>Вульгата</kwd><kwd>Пешитта</kwd><kwd>древние греческие переводы</kwd><kwd>Вавилонский Талмуд</kwd><kwd>таргумы</kwd><kwd>мидраши</kwd><kwd>иудейские средневековые комментарии</kwd><kwd>ветхозаветная экзегеза</kwd><kwd>христианская антропология</kwd><kwd>еврейская антропология</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Psalm 8</kwd><kwd>Masoretic text</kwd><kwd>Septuagint</kwd><kwd>Vulgate</kwd><kwd>Peshitta</kwd><kwd>ancient Greek translations</kwd><kwd>Babylonian Talmud</kwd><kwd>targums</kwd><kwd>midrashim</kwd><kwd>Jewish medieval commentaries</kwd><kwd>Old Testament exegesis</kwd><kwd>Christian anthropology</kwd><kwd>Jewish anthropology</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Селезнёв М.
